Who we are

The website is operated by AKAR for Urban Constructions S.A.E., trading as A Con, a full finishing and fit-out contractor registered in Egypt. We design, price and execute complete finishing and fit-out projects for residential, commercial, clinic and industrial spaces. What you are buying

Every A Con project starts with a site assessment. Our specialist visits your unit, surveys it and produces as-built 2D plans. The design of your space and its bill of quantities (BOQ) are then built on those plans.

The site assessment is the only service sold and paid for through the website, using the Book Inspection flow. The fee covers the visit by an A Con specialist on the date and time you book, the as-built 2D plans of the unit in PDF format, and an initial BOQ.

The initial BOQ is a preliminary estimate. It is not binding on A Con or on you, and it is not a quotation, a contract or an offer to carry out works. The finishing and fit-out works themselves, including design house fees and materials, are agreed separately in a written contract after the assessment.

Booking and payment

The site assessment fee depends on the area where your unit is located and is shown in Egyptian pounds before you pay. Payment is taken through our licensed payment service provider. Your appointment is reserved only once payment has been received, and a receipt is sent to the email address you provide.

Each appointment holds a one hour window. If nobody is available to give our specialist access to the unit at the booked time, the visit may need to be rescheduled and no refund is due.

Cancellations and refunds

The site assessment fee is not refundable once your appointment has been reserved. Please read our Refund and Exchange Policy for the full rules, including what happens if A Con has to reschedule.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that the details you give us are accurate and that you are the owner of the unit or are authorised by the owner to arrange the assessment. You agree to give our specialist safe access to the unit at the booked time.

Drawings and content

The as-built 2D plans and initial BOQ are prepared for your personal use in planning the finishing and fit-out of your unit. A Con keeps the right to reuse its own drawings, templates and methods. All text, images and designs on the website belong to A Con or its partners and may not be copied without written permission.

Liability

The assessment deliverables are based on what can be observed and measured during the visit. A Con is not liable for costs or decisions taken on the basis of the initial BOQ, which is an estimate only. Our total liability in connection with a booking is limited to the assessment fee paid. Liability for finishing and fit-out works is governed by the separate works contract.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute that cannot be settled by discussion will be brought before the competent courts of Cairo.

Changes and contact
