Who is responsible

AKAR for Urban Constructions S.A.E., trading as A Con, is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Our office is at Plot 80, Town Square Mall, Service Area, 5th Settlement, New Cairo, Egypt. Privacy questions can be sent to welcome@acon-eg.com.

What we collect

When you book a site assessment or send us an enquiry, we collect:

• Your name, phone number and email address.
• The area, type and details of your unit.
• Your style preferences and the design house you choose, if any.
• Your chosen appointment date and time.
• Any drawings or files you upload for us to review.

Payment information

Payments are processed by our licensed payment service provider. Card details are entered on the provider's secure pages and are never seen or stored by A Con. We receive only a confirmation that the payment succeeded, the amount, and a reference number.

Why we use your information

We use your information to:

• Reserve your appointment and send your receipt.
• Contact you to confirm the visit and deliver the as-built 2D plans and initial BOQ.
• Match you with a design house if you ask us to.
• Respond to enquiries and prepare designs and quotations for your finishing and fit-out project.

Who sees your information

Your booking details are seen by the A Con team members who handle appointments and site visits. Booking receipts are copied to our internal booking mailboxes. If you choose a design house, we share the details needed for them to design your space. Our payment service provider handles your payment. We do not sell personal information to anyone.

How long we keep it

Booking information is kept until the deliverables for your site assessment have been sent to you. If you go on to contract A Con for finishing and fit-out works, your details are kept for the life of that project. Records needed for accounting or legal reasons, such as payment receipts, are kept for as long as Egyptian law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email welcome@acon-eg.com with your booking reference and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Cookies

The website uses only the technical cookies needed for it to work. When you press I agree on the cookies and terms notice, we store a small record of that agreement in your browser so the notice is not shown again on that device. We do not use advertising cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page applies.
